Queensland Health ICT Industry Briefing

Queensland Health, in conjunction with CHIK Services and Health-e-Nation provided the Australian health ICT industry with a briefing on ICT aspects of its major programs for the next 3 years.

The Briefing was held on Tuesday 18 August 2009 at the National Convention Centre, Canberra.

This briefing outlined the ICT directions, strategy and timing for:

·         The ICT infrastructure program; including major investments in ICT infrastructure, equipment and services;

·         The eHealth program; including major investments in ehealth solutions and systems;

·         The major Health Infrastructure & Projects and Programs

The briefing was presented by senior Queensland Health staff including:

·         Mr Ray Brown, Acting CIO, Queensland Health

·         Mr Tam Shepherd, Program Director eHealth, Information Division

The briefing was held in conjunction with Australia’s largest health ICT industry exhibition to assist easy attendance by vendors.
