Fiona Wilson is the Director of the Office of Health Information Systems, co-ordinating the implementation of Victoria's $323m information and technology strategy, HealthSMART. HealthSMART will provide, for the first time in Victoria, a shared service for health care agencies and will implement new technologies in the areas of clinical systems, patient & client management system, resource management systems and ICT delivery. Ms Wilson has extensive experience working on health and technology projects, with health services and within government. She is involved with the National e-health Transition Authority Advisory Committee (NEHTA) a member of the Victorian HealthConnect Board, Health Purchasing Victoria and is a past member of the Australian & New Zealand Chief Information Officer (CIO) Group. She holds a Masters of Science degree and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Statistics.
