Ms Sally Glass

Managing Director

CHIK Services

With an extensive working knowledge of health and health IT developed during a career encompassing nursing, computing, and business management in government and non-government organisations, Sally has consistently worked towards increasing the growth and uptake of appropriate information technology in health settings.

After completing an Associate Diploma in Computing she took up a series of project management, strategy development and business development positions within the Information Management Division of NSW Health in 1991 until her appointment as National Manager Health Services for the Collaborative Health Informatics Centre in 1999.  During this time Sally developed and maintained an extensive network of contacts across all aspects of the Health IT industry within Australia and overseas.

In July 2002 she and her husband John established CHIK Services Pty Ltd (www.chik.com.au).

A private, independent not-for-profit company, CHIK provides global communication and research services to governments, health providers, and the Health ICT industry and actively supports and encourages the communication of information by participants in the health and ICT sectors within Australia and overseas, helping to enable the delivery of quality healthcare supported by appropriate technology.

Leveraging Sally's health domain expertise, networks and analytical skills, CHIK rapidly established itself as Australia's Health ICT Information Hub and has expanded its reach into the Asia Pacific region.
