CHIK Services’ Advisory Panel meeting (closed meeting)

CHIK’s Advisory Panel is an extension of CHIK Services’ commitment to collaborative approaches to aid the resolution of issues in the Health Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry. The Panel meets once a year, just prior to Health-e-Nation to discuss strategic and philosophical “big picture” issues relevant to the delivery of health services; and to identify steps that CHIK can take leading to deliverable outcomes. Members and guests attend in their own right, not as representatives of any organisation.

Queensland Health ICT Briefing, Canberra (seperate registration required)

Queensland Health, in conjunction with CHIK Services and Health-e-Nation, is pleased to provide the Australian health ICT industry with a briefing on ICT aspects of its major programs for the next 3 years. This briefing will be held in Canberra from 5-6pm on Tuesday 18th July, just prior to CHIK’s Invitational Drinks & Dinner function. The briefing will be presented by senior Queensland Health staff and will outline the ICT directions, strategy and timing for the ICT infrastructure program, the eHealth program and major Health Infrastructure projects and programs.

This informal full-day workshop brings public and private health provider CIOs and equivalents together with international Health-e-Nation speakers. Those interested in attending should contact sally.glass@chik.com.au
